I've decided to inject some life into this nearing-dead blog. It's been comatose for almost a year now. I'm inspired because spring is around the corner and the anticipated better weather holds the promise of..well.....better weather. Soothsayers posing as weathermen claim the record temperatures that Earth set for herself in 1998 shall be moderated a decade later this year because of the La Nina. The imposing volume of the formidable Pacific Ocean is cooler than it has been in a while. Air currents generated over the ocean, clearly cooler this year have a far-reaching impact on the planet's weather conditions. It's like one giant thermostat that controls the monsoon activity in Mumbai and the unforgiving chill in Vladivostok. As I pen these random thoughts I'm listening to Poison's "Nothin' but a good time"....most awesome glam rock song I've heard in a long time! If only we all listened to good old senseless glam rock the world would be a much nicer place to inhabit........
